Lashanta Rudd is the Executive Director of Serving In Christ Outreach Inc.
I am a undergradute at Belhaven University majoring in Christian Ministry Social Services. I have served in ministry fulltime through out Memphis TN . In 2010 with a vision from God and a passion in my heart, I was led to begin Serving In Christ Outreach Ministries and to build partnerships with other churches and individuals who share a like passion: a passion to share Jesus with those who do not know Him and to bring help, hope and healing to the broken and wounded throughout this city.
Jesus commands us to help, and as christians we must do what we can. There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land. (Deuteronomy 15:11) I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that God still speaks today. Jesus states: "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." -- John 10:27 My calling came directly from God himself. God in his kindness chose me and called me, even before I was born! “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you before you were born I set you apart I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jermiah 1:5)
Serving In Christ Outreach Ministry is a non profit organization. God has instructed this ministry to reach out to many that are afflicted and to reachout to those who are still in search of Jesus Christ the only solution to every situation in their lives.
We are most like God when we are giving, sharing, and caring for people. Throughout Jesus journey he taught, preached, and healed. Most of all He showed compassion to all mankind.
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served,
but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.(Mark 10;45)
